An Underdog winning the race
7 of 7 found this helpful I'm a bit of an Audiophile. I have 4 subs in my large room, because it opens to the kitchen there is a lot of volume to fill. One of my subs is an SVS 13 ultra so you know where I'm coming from. The SVS fills the 18-30hz gap. When I was dialing this Sub-1200 in I literally had to keep checking all of my other subs to see if I missed one even though I had unplugged them all, it was tripping me out. This little sub was performing much higher than my expectations. I mean the window even rattled! This sub does nothing under about 32hz. But it shines above that, seriously. 90% of your listening will be above 30hz anyway. You cant make a mistake here at this price. I really like the down firing feature, there is no port noise this way that I can hear.
