My go-to b&w film.
1 of 1 found this helpful A very good, reliable b&w film that works well with Ilford's various developers. 400 ASA is handy for gloomy British winters and lets you shoot at reasonable shutter speeds without being wide open all the time. Gets a bit grainy if you over-agitate it during development...be gentle.

Handsome, tough, perfect timekeeper.
The best-value watch I've ever bought. Quite a novelty to take off the automatic Seikos and Omegas and to know that the time shown on my wrist is actually correct.

Just grateful it's still made
Buying film in bulk still saves a tiny amount, so it's worthwhile, and a good-quality film like HP5 still produces noticeably better results that are worth the extra you pay over budget lines like Kentmere. A good go-to film.
