Higher capacity for enhanced exterior lighting
Price is a fraction of OEM, the "fit" is identical to OEM, and the quality seems to be equal to OEM. Being just installed the life of the alternator cannot be determined at this time.

Good enough for a daily driver
Top edge of header crooked and unfinished. Midway between header top edge and grill opening finish is dimpled from moldings holding threaded fasteners. Headlight doors are 3/16 inch taller than OEM and lack a tab that keeps them at a distance from header. Header was black and is shows repainted Stone White.

A very good idea.
2 of 2 found this helpful My first Lumix (G2) was plastic and is still working great but the photo and video quality had not kept up with the times. In contrast, the GH5 is a totally upscale product. Current new and used prices make the camera an excellent camera for anyone moving up but there's a catch. For the occasional, point and shoot, or shooter that doesn't want to read manuals the camera can be a "handfull". The GH5 is a machine engineered to record video and stills; as such it is not entirely user-friendly. If you will be using it every day or so great but if not, you may want to stick with a camera with simple controls and Program functions that take the guesswork out of your picture-taking. I certainly wouldn't suggest you use the camera on any project without first working with it and checking the performance on your application.
To buy or not to buy? At the price, and with the features, my thought is you can't go wrong with the Panasonic As for the MFT vs. full-frame argument, the photo business has changed. Look beyond the brand name, sensor size, and decide what you'll be doing with the images or video FIRST - this should be the defining factor of what lens(s), body, and additional equipment you need (in that order).
The GH5 will do more than the average shooter demands. I've been using Nikon equipment since the 70s and I wasn't sure switching to a Panasonic, known for TVs and VCRs was a good idea. For me, it was a very good idea.
