Voilamart 48V Front Wheel Electric Bicycle Motor Conversion Kit 1000W eBike Hub

Super Quality --- Turns up the fun factor on any bike.

As more electric conversions become available, this one is a stand out. The instructions are clear and even mention putting the wheel wiring to the right side to make the bike go forward. The conversion itself takes less than an hour and the results are well worth the effort and the price. This kit does work nicer on a bike with lever shifts rather than twist shifts as the throttle is a twist throttle. I used a 10.2 amp 48 volt lithium pack and passing a radar sign was easily seeing 20 mph. I have seen some reviews that say 30 to 35 mph but I have not seen that. Perhaps with a different controller that is possible. My previous electric conversion was greatly helped by a new controller and speed increased from 12 to 18 mph. Still the build quality on this wheel is fantastic and whole kit is what you expect from Voilamart. One last thing, the controller has a connection to keep the speed to 12 mph, a legal requirement in some jurisdictions. My wife got me to hook the switch on her bike as she felt the bike was to fast without it. Great addition to any bike. Trips to the corner store are much easier, and more fun.

Fantastic ebkie kit for my recumbent.

I have been putting ebike kits on my bikes for the last few years. This is without a doubt the nicest kit I have ever worked with. The pedal assist works better than any kit I have ever used. When you pedal it does not seem to increase with the throttle until you stop pedaling. The assist is smooth and it is not overpowered on the lower PA levels. The Kit worked out of the box and gave a smooth and powerful addition to my recumbent bike. I truly like this kit. I would be happier if it were a lower powered motor as a 1000watt motor is not really necessary. Still it is a great kit
