Over heats and randomly restarts

Works on Galaxy tab 4 and LG Gpad 7.0. Does NOT work on Galaxy s4, s6 and s7 (unless it needs an app or drivers) I'm not sure what's going on with it. It will work fine then over heat. Sometimes when I'm watching YouTube and others when I'm not doing anything. It does work but it's obnoxious and the restarting masses with video streaming. If it's just text you may be OK. I'm going to keep it as a back up but I would not recommend to buy one new.
