Piece of trash
It may work at first, but it won't last more than a couple months, if that. Most are dead out of the box. Fit and finish is very poor. tested with a usb power meter it has horrible efficiency. It seems like a good value, but its even worse than the price would suggest.

What I expected for the price
overall low quality. DOA due to the key thingy on the bottom being broken. Probably due to the big dent. I was able to bypass it with some alum foil and the laser then worked. The beam is a wierd shape (not circular) and does not retain its strength over long distances. this starts to be noticeable at ~20 feet. Poor contruction. Alum body is thin and the threads that hold the different pieces together are not tapped straight. This results in the laser beam not being parallel to the body of the laser (though the effect is not TOO noticeable). Batteries are not 4000mah since this would be impossible. Would recommend throwing them out after first use along with the charger and getting somethong legit to be safe. Brightness is pretty good. I drilled a hole in the body so that I could manually adjust the brightness using a POT on the curcuit board because it was too bright for my intended purpose. For 9 bucks its exactly what I expected. I dont regret buying it.
