best kits
Tamiya makes the best plastic model kits hands down. Very little flashing, parts fit, instructions are understandable.

As advertised and works fine but these valves are notorious for failing, many times after only one season.

Better than old model makers
Pretty good quality control and fit. All the old names from my youth seem to put out junk, it's nice to find a decent kit. Like just about all makers, the instructions could be better. It's hard to tell what sequence some assembly needs and if you do it wrong you will find out later when another part won't fit. I will be seeing the rest of their stuff.
