Doesn't work. Defective part.
0 of 2 found this helpful My 9 year old son was desperate for a lava lamp, so this was his most favored present this year (to my amazement). But it does not work. So disappointing to plug it in and find that it does...exactly nothing. Dud bulb, apparently. We tried another bulb we had on hand with a candelabra base and it lit up, but wasn't the right shape so we couldn't use it in the lamp. We had to leave on a trip Christmas Day, so no possibility of getting the right light bulb. Just a disappointed little boy and his mom.
