I installed this belt about a week ago and so far no issues. Before installation I inspected the entire length of the belt and was surprised to see two deep cuts in the rubber (ribbed) side of the belt. The cord side seems strong enough. And the dryer has worked on 3 loads of laundry. If this was an automotive belt I would have tossed it immediately. I have come to believe that most replacement parts bought through e-bay "on the cheap" are exactly that. You essentially get almost what you paid for. I think e-bay should add a classification of New - 2nd, factory second, or New - factory reject. It will probably work OK, but I am not overly happy with the way it looked. Time will tell if this was a good deal.
