This rod is a fantastic value
I'm a die harder fly angler who has spent the beetr part of 140 days per year on the water for the last 3 decades. I own & fish Sage rods almost exclusively. Four of my Sage rods are Igniters. Superb, performance machines, which most people find too stiff. I absolutely swear by Sage Igniter rods. They are the Ferrari of fly rods. This Redington Vice 4100-4 fishes like a cheaper version of the Sage Igniter. I fish it as my small & medium water nymphing rod. The first fish I landed on it the day after I purchased it was a 5 pound rainbow on a local stream. Highly recommended rod. Fantastic value. Pair up with Lamson Liquid reel & you've got an amazing outfit for a song...
