Supco SGR9998 New Replacement Oven Range Flat Igniter for GE WB2X9998

Seems good so far.!

I repair appliances as a profession and have used this particular brand several times. All seems well so far as I haven't had any call-backs involving the ovens they were installed in. I find Supco parts to be of excellant quality with a great price tag.

Grateful that this was available to provide an affordable fix.

The old board was causing the motor to cut out intermittently. The customer wasn't willing to spend $240 for a new board. Found this for a fraction of the cost, and everyone, and the dryer couldn't have been happier.

WB20K8 FOR GE OVEN THERMOSTAT

A high-failure item. Should be bought new.

I took a chance and bought this item used. It appears this item has a high failure rate according to some of the research I had done on some sites before buying it. It worked when I installed it in a customer's oven but failed the same way as the old one, and in the same way others have reported on repair forums. Essentially the on and off detents drift so close together that the oven either doesn't shut off or will turn on by itself just from nearby disturbances. Had to return $95 to the customer (ouch!). Didn't care to go through the hassle of removing it and returning it if that were even an option after 3 days of usage.
