Powers a 12" sub like a champ!
Powering JL Audio 12W3 old school woofer. Plenty of power to thump the 8-ohm woofer in a sealed box, never need to turn the volume knob beyond the 12 o'clock position. Running cold, seems like not even stressing the amp at all. Class a/b sub amp is a rarity, another choice would be the Boston SA1, which has two sub outputs!

Great value for the money, DIY way
Bought this to make DIY speaker cables. Easy to solder on terminals. Would be awesome if individual strand is coated, into a Listz-configuration to minimize the skin effect but it would probably cost way more. The outer insulator appears to be high grade plastic due to ease of flexibility and bending (not hard and stiff like other wire); though, would melt during the soldering process to the terminal ends. Treat with care if plan to solder. For the price, a great value. Don't need fancy turns/strand grouping (a la Cardas).

Good value, but the future is bleak for it.
2 of 4 found this helpful I got this tablet as a second Playbook due to a dead pixel problem on the first. But that didn't help. I got one pixel seemed to have a dirt particle underneath the clear screen (brand new, sealed box). Too tired and afraid to run into a similar/worse problem with a third one/replacement. I can't imagine how RIM got this quality control thing slipped. A lot of ppl seemed to share some sort of screen pixel problem (~30%).
Besides the 'pixel' issue, this little table is great for internet, emailing, e-reading, gaming, productivity. Love the intuitive touch interface, very smart! Speakers and the audio are the best. Battery life is good, 6 hrs on full app gaming. The ability to run Android apps is a great move for this tablet! But the Android player seemed to hiccup here and there, need to restart once in a while (I assume that will be corrected in software update). Sideloading apps using DDBB is the way to go.
Got it for 50% discount off the initial retail so it's a great value. But it's hard for me to recommend this to a non-tech person. I love to tinker with gadget so it's a fun toy, not a must have item.
