The Vantec IDE/SATA to USB 3.0 Adapter is well manufactured, and easy to use. A must have in your tech toolbox arsenal. The plugs have a nice secure fitment and it comes with a compact power supply equipped with it's own shutoff switch, a handy and useful convenience. My first use helped rescue a HD from a malfunctioning PC saving me more than the cost of the adapter$$
