Perfect Entry into Photography
2 of 3 found this helpful If you're getting into photography on any level beyond snapping an occasional holiday pic, you're going to need something that has full control over aperture, shutter speed, and ISO. This camera is a great piece of equipment and in terms of what cameras can cost, it's very budget friendly. I highly recommend the 50mm lens this specific camera comes with. Arguably the most important part of photography is light management and this lens let's in so much light for such an affordable price.
Great value all around!
If you're looking for comparable items, check out the Sony A6000 which was a runner up for me, but may be just the right thing for you. Slightly smaller, can transmit via wifi, etc. I found canon to have a greater depth of affordable lenses, so I went that route.

Great Lock
This is a simple to install, simple to use, extremely convenient, and safe door lock. It fit in nicely in my Nest app with my cameras, thermostat, and door bell. Great so far.
