You get what you pay for
0 of 2 found this helpful I really wish I had read the description a little more carefully before ordering this cage. I think it is ok for cockatiels and parakeets, but not for critters that are escape artists. I bought this to use for sugar gliders to use as an intro cage and for newly weaned joeys, but I don't think it's a good idea, too easy for them to get out. This was sent free shipping so it would be too expensive to ship it back. I think I can use this as a hospital cage but will have to use a lot of zip ties to make it escape proof. The bottom grate has a large gap on the side, the dropping tray is extremely cheap and flimsy, and it doesn't fit right. The plus side to this cage, it was really easy to put together. If you want sugar glider cages, spend a little more money and get a more secure cage.

Great cage, dropping pan not so much.
I love this cage, I have three of them I use for my breeding pairs of sugar gliders. The cages will last about 3 years before they start rusting a bit...which is easy to fix with a little bit of appliance paint. I will probably buy more of these cages in the near future. The dropping pans that come with these cages aren't very sturdy though and will need to be replaced in about 6 months. You can remedy the pan problem by bracing the section with wire or something under where the pans go so they have a bit more support. I do prefer the white or eggshell colored cages because it is easier to see when they need cleaning. If you want to hide pet messes, then get the darker colored cages.

You get what you pay for
This item is very cheap and flimsy, and is very limited on ways to hang or mount it. It works ok, just will probably be replacing it sooner rather than later. You get what you pay for.
