Very entertaining

An outstanding movie!
2 of 2 found this helpful The late Ayn Rand correctly pointed out that the real hero of this great movie was the concept of human efficacy. Virgil Tibbs personifies incomparable skill in his work which forces the white police to reexamine their prejudices and eventually overcome them. A fittingly symbolic touch is at the conclusion where the Sheriff caries Virgil's suitcase for him. Don't waste your time with any of the sequals; they are junk.

Outstanding bargain!
I don't usually buy highlight recordings but I couldn't resist this one. It's a great bargain that I have recommended to fellow opera lovers!
