Better quality
Several manufacturers have this design of tool. However,I find that the Klein brand is a little heavier metal. I replaced 2 sets that were over 15 years old, used almost daily. How can anyone complain?

Gets the job done
I see no noticeable difference between the $1,000 units and this one. As of yet I have had no real issues with it but where to buy any replacement parts would be nice information to include with the item. Thus far I have used it on 10 ga thru 4-0 wire and no real issue. With the unit off, I stick the wire in the exit side and set the cutter, the turn it on and check the cut to make sure it is enough. At times I run the wire thru and then turn it 180 and cut again. You will find a barrel on the back side to put old insulation in and peeling it apart as it exits the machine 3 feet or so behind it putting the insulation into the barrel makes fast efficient time of the operation. Fun and addicting to use.

Needs more power
Great for quick little pickups of dirt, dust, sawdust, chips, etc. Don't try to make it perfect because it doesn't have that power. Filter needs cleaned before the chamber thinks about being full. Zaps a 2 AH battery quick; I use a 4 or 6 with it. Don't pay over $80 for it cause you'll be disappointed. Filters aren't so cheap so keep it out if the wet stuff. I needed a vac for doing several window sills and some steps; this beats lugging a heavier machine. I was hoping for a bit more power.
