Simple is best
I've carried a firearm for over thirty-five years in both uniform and soft clothes configurations but I've never found any concealed holster that is easier to use and offers the fastest draw than a slide holster like this one, Granted, it doesn't have threat level-like protection that some uniform duty holsters offer but then again, it's not for the novice either. For firearms retention, gimmicks are largely a myth if one doesn't practice enough with them which most don't so unless you're willing to develop proficiency by practicing your smooth draw, don't depend on gimmicks to retain your firearm and you won't get hurt trying to draw it, etc. Technology is never a reasonable alternative to practicing for proficiency.

Peltor TAC100 Amplified Ear Muffs Versus Their Latest Model
2 of 2 found this helpful Having seen both models side by side as provided by a 3M sales rep. I found that the TAC100 model to be superior in several ways over their newest release. First, this model uses an on-off volume control knob; their latest model uses rubber coated tactile push buttons for power and volume up and down and has a speech synthesizer to tell you when it is powering up or down, in my opinion, technical overkill. The push buttons are hard to find when the muffs are being worn. Although their latest model has a thicker headband, it doesn't fold like this model making it bulkier to stow in a range bag. Last, the battery life of this model is far better than that of the newest model and it sells for more than the TAC100. All things considered, this model is my preferred choice over their latest offering.

No brainer
1 of 1 found this helpful When a gun shop quoted $35.00 to install night sights on a semi and this fixture sells for only $40.00, the choice was obvious. If sights need to be tweaked at the range, this tool will make it easy and fast plus, if I ever want to do the same to another firearm, the cost of the tool becomes zero dollars! If there ever was a good bargain for the money, this tool is it! Besides, why spend a lot more for a specialized tool that only fits one make when this one will fit many other makes and models?
