Good photos for the price, but slow refresh limits use
(Note, this is a general review of this model of camera, not of the particular unit I won.) The M525 is a decent, but not spectacular, camera. It takes pretty good photos, but the refresh time between photos can be long. After taking a series of them, it can sit at a "Processing" screen for long periods of time. One nice feature is a second button to start up recording video. It's handy and just far enough out of the way to prevent hitting it by accident. Overall, it's a good cheap digicam to keep on hand for the occasional photo. But it's not very usable for taking a load of photos at a time. I bought one through eBay specifically to match an M525 I already owned, for the purpose of mounting them side-by-side in order to take 3D photos.
