Positive or negative ground?
I repair antique and classic auto parts. Because of the history of single side insulated power supply, and the UK's decision to revert from POSITIVE ground to Negative Ground systems- for the possible reasoning to avoid corrosion from atmospheric conditions- coil polarity has become a concern.
You CAN fire a sparkplug backwards.
That is, the HEAT RANGE of a spark plug is inhibited by incorrect polarity. In my research- the isolated center sparkplug electrode needs to have correct polarity to aid in heating that electrode so that the heat dissipation path is correctly dissipated for the correct heat range of the sparkplug to be effective..
This coil claims to fit both positive and negative ground bikes. No instructions for proper wiring are available from the manufacturer. Using the "Lead Pencil Test, I was able to determine that- as labeled, the coil is setup for negative ground vehicles. Minimally, the power and primary terminals should be reversed for partially correcting polarity. HOWEVER, one cannot make a left handed screw into a right handed screw- and the same is true of a coil internal design.
I would appreciate the manufacturers comment on this, as my Email was not answered.

What is a LATCHING relay?
What is a LATCHING relay? Energize momentarily once, and you have path "A". Momentarily energize again, and you gave path "B". There are few relays on the market that have this "Latching Function". Although designed for selection of High and Low headlamp beams, I am using it on my Automatic antenna that allows raising to any height on ascent or decent. As usual, re-purposing automotive technology to fit a need is my business. That is why I am known as "The ODD Parts guy".

Micro screw anchor point for Methacrylate plastic repairs.
I wish that you had more!! These kits have in them a very hard steel self tapping 00 and 000 screws. I use these in repairs to plastic components that typically were too weak as originally designed. By pre-drilling a .040" hole into the Bakelite or other brittle or weak plastic- these "Threaded Pins" act as an anchor point for added on Methacrylate plastic. I then surround the pin with the powdered methacrylate, add the catalyst ( in any percentage) and either mold or file to finish. See attached.
See repair to this Lamborghini window switch. I have hundreds more of repaired parts using these screws. Thank You.
