“The Root”
Beirut, Lebanon (1982-1984) is the “First Persian Gulf War”, and Congress has yet to recognize it as a U.S. War predicated on Terrorism with bombing of the U.S. Embassy in April & the Marine Barracks in October 1983; Notwithstanding, the geopolitical catastrophic handling of the ground situations that lead to further casualties…I lost my Classmate & Marine on October 23, 1983, and his last full measure of duty, devotion, sacrifice as yet to be properly recognized.
