Worth The Money

Firstly, the main body of the headlamp is metal, not plastic. In my view, much better for a longer lifetime of use. Whilst the instructions are in small print and takes a little time to understand, they are useful. The battery supplied is very good and, after reading the instructions, the charging point is easy to find. There are alternative adaptors supplied, both for Li and normal batteries. The headband takes a little adjusting and, due to the slightly increased weight of the headlamp, the rear head pad makes wearing the unit more comfortable. Another positive of the headlamp is that it is not a 'screw tighten' to fix the position of the light, rather a ratchet method. This allows the lamp to be easily adjusted without having to take it off. Overall - having had a number of the plastic bodied headlamps, this I believe will last me a lot longer. Great piece of kit.

Don't expect miracles - good as additional equipment or for small set-ups only.

I purchased these specifically as additional items for existing equipment. Fountain Pump. With a lift of approx 500mm, this provided a good output for a 'spitter', although using it for a fountain feature would be questionable. Air Pump. This provides a good output for one feed over a distance of approx 1000mm.

Easy to use and does the job well.

Having an outdoor pond, I need to regularly check on the water conditions for my Bristol Shubunkins. Previous experience with test strips wasn't good, since the test patches were small and difficult to read. Looking at the various 'Full' test kits available, I was surprised on the reviews for the product. Whilst it looking a little daunting when it arrived. Techno Babble was minimal and the instructions were clear, concise and step by step. Simplicity itself. The colour comparison chart is big enough to hold the sample against to compare results. Maybe a test tube holder would be good, for the longer tests, but these are available on e-bay at a cheep price. Overall, whilst you can buy more expensive kits why bother ? This works great for me, and I hope for everyone else who gets one.
