ok for a few weeks
Faded to hell in sunlight. Its not u.v. friendly in the slightest. Theres strong sun here so maybe better for cloudy countries. Also dry ones. Moisture got to it in the end also.

Obviously nowhere near the claimed output.
They dont make led dies that bright but i had to see what it could do. What you get is a pretty lightweight functional headlight and mount. Its probably a cree running at about 500-700 lumens per led. Includes the led driver. It gives a decent Mount of light but its nowhere near a fully powered good quality cree setup. It simply saves building your own little rig if your on a budget. Think dark lanes in a city, not real mountain use. Ill probably trim it down so its a tad lighter Nd use it as a helmet light. There are rubber seals but im suspect as to how waterproof. Be careful to use a battery with protection.

1 of 1 found this helpful The instructions are kinda confusing and i think i was missing one strap and the foam spacers shown in the instructions (leaves it tight up against the bars and interfering with the brakes and cables) also the secondary straps do not fit through the loops as shown in the instructions. And the attachment points are the tipsvof the straps (its NOT cross stitched over a few inches for strength. A worry given the thin bag material) But i got it fitted almost adequately for what i need. Some may have issues. Its really thin plasticy material so i cant say how well it will handle weight/sharp edges/bouncing but time will tell. Thats said being light is great. Also its more than waterproof. When rolled and in place the thing is actually airtight. Impressed by that.
Unfortunately although i love rock bros price and designs they always miss a couple of things in final production.
Last one was a seatpost where the seat clamp rail holes were too wide for the rails by 2mm. and what started as a perfect post width 30.9 was ruined by them machining the surface which left it slipping and unclampable. Just rock bros not testing the end products properly.
