Great "Coffee Table" Book, Full of Information, Cool!
This is a Great Overview of the History of the Guitar. From the early stringed instruments to the modern era. This is not an 'in depth' study, but it is full of great bits of history and hundreds of pictures.
It delves into different styles of music with brief profiles of many Artists. With sections on Classical, Flamenco, Blues, County, Folk, Jazz, Rock & Pop in Europe and the UK, Rock & Pop in North America, and Latin & World music.
This is not 'heavy reading' but great for light browsing for all ages.
It also has a few examples of various riffs and songs in various styles.
It might inspire you or your children to take-up the Guitar.

Great Looking and Playing Guitar at a Discount Price.
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought this on eBay cuz it was a good deal! Duh? I have previously owned a "Trace" Warbeast. They look Good. Also the BDSM pickups sound very nice. Simple controls with one Volume, one Tone and a 3-way switch. These BC Rich Trace Warbeasts are nice guitars at a discount price. You can find these for $250 or so NEW. You can find them for less used. If you are buying Used, always check for Chips on the Headstock and on the Body points. And once you own one, be careful of chipping the points on your new guitar.
I would recommend these to anyone who wants a radical looking solid bodied electric. With Humbuckers and a solid tail. I ain't into Strats, even though I own one. I bought the TWBSTO with a String-thru-the-Body set-up. There is also a Warbeast T with a Floyd Rose tremolo, but I don't do Whammy bars.
There is also a Warbeast WMD with a Neck-Thru design. But this model is more for beginners and intermediate players. It is just fine for me.

Get sparkling highs
I bought these for my Carbon Fiber Journey OF660 guitar. My carbon fiber guitar has a great low end, but not so much treble. These strings cured that. I also have these strings on my Composite Acoustic Legacy carbon fiber Dreadnought. These strings work well with Carbon.
Rumor has it that these strings will last a long time... I have not worn a set out yet. I usually change then when the get dirty, but they still sound great.
