    I was very happy to finally receive this lovely purchase. There had been a delivery mix-up at my apt. complex but eventually I received my item. The packaging was superb including an ‘invoice’ enclosed inside, which probably helped the lost item finding its way to my door. Thank You.

Capresso 440 10 Cup Thermal Coffee Maker CHROME W/PERMANENT COFFEE FILTER

attractive design and excellent coffee
My extensive online coffee maker research led me to this excellent, moderately priced coffee maker and I am not disappointed. The main feature I was looking for was a carafe that keeps the coffee hot for several hours. This exceeds my expectations in that department. Additional bonus features include ease of operation, relatively small size and sleek design. It uses a cone filter which I have found does a better job saturating the coffee grounds than the basket type filter that I had in my previous coffee maker. It brews a little slower and makes a little more noise than my previous coffee maker but the results are worth the adjustment. Plus it is programmable so it can take it's time and make it's noise while I am getting ready for work. Mine came with an environmentally friendly, reusable gold mesh filter but I think the taste of coffee brewed through a paper cone filter tastes cleaner. All in all, I am extremely pleased with this purchase and am hoping it lasts a long, long time.
