Great microphone for any use while away from the CB radio.
1 of 1 found this helpful This works great at home or at work. I work in a building and like to listen to things on the outside. There is no reception in the building but with this microphone, linked to the radio in my car outside, I am able to hear what is going on. The range is excellent on this unit. My Uniden 980 radio is set to scan with the squelch adjusted and I pickup any active channels on it and the Uniden BC906W wireless microphone. I could get in on the conversation but that will stop the scan function and I will be locked on the channel I spoke on. No problem if a person monitors a single channel.
