Folding arms lock up after first use
Whilst it works well as a burner, once you've used it once the folding arms no longer fold and are locked in position. As this was the reason for buying it, I'd say that it fails in what it claims to be.
I tried folding the arms back with pliers but the mounting just bent, such was the severity of the locked arms.
I was very disappointed in this product as if it did what it was supposed to it would be a great item.

A Brew Kitbag which is great for deadbaits
I actually bought this not for a brew kit, but actually for storing deadbaits for Pike fishing. It's actually perfect for this job as it insulates the frozen deadbait well. I didn't use the shoulder strap with the bag, but it was certainly very useful to put on my chair for lugging that around.

Conveniently lightweight but expensive
2 of 2 found this helpful A very convenient to carry and lightweight option and much cleaner (and probably healthier) than Heximine Blocks (see wikipedia!).
What's nice about these is that each block is wrapped individually so you only need carry what you need for the trip.
They also burn nicely and leave very little soot on the base of the pan/kettle.
The only downside to these is that each block works out at about 67p each, which is expensive when compared to alternatives such as a meths stove. However this is a small price to pay when you consider that they are so lightweight and easy to measure (i.e. one block = 1 kettle / pan of food). Whilst I wouldn't recommend it for a long trip - in my opinion a meths stove would work out cheaper and less bulky - they are great for an overnighter when only 4 pans/kettles burns are required.
In the right situation I would definitely recommend them.
