A great leap forward in the evolution of lure guides!!!
3 of 3 found this helpful Tim Watts has done a great job following his Grandfather's footsteps with his additions to this 7th edition of the Carl F. Luckey Old Fishing Lures & Tackle book. I am fortunate to have known all three of these men and can vouch for their love and dedication to providing both the facts and feelings of our fishing tackle history.
This book is a must for all fishing tackle collectors.

Darrow fills a large place in our HISTORICAL FISHING DISPLAY MUSEUM.
I am particularly interested in Darrow. As the owner of the Historical Fishing Display, one of our major exhibitions is lure maker Fred Paulson.
His wife had been the Governess for the family of one of the young men killed by the Leopold and Loeb that Darrow was able to spare from being executed.
We have all of the items left by the Paulson’s since there two daughters never married and there was no surviving family.
They did leave a lot of information, photos, paintings, lures, tools and more but this is a Darrow book we didn’t have. It is filled with interesting history.
