Good Historical Reference Materials for Everyone!
It’s hard to believe that so much time has passed since this series of books were first published but the content is just as relevant as ever. I think that the subject is useful to youthful historians or those who were living in these eras; they provide beautiful illustrations with informative chapters that are instructive and entertaining.
These books are a good reference for those interested in antique collecting which is the main reason for me purchasing these editions. Knowing the context of a period gives you insight into why the things were made and used in the past.
