Music with a Message

For those of you who have wondered whatever happened to music that raises consciousness, you'll find it here with Muse. They manage to do something that their peers have not; talk about issues that truly matter: corrupt politics, life, war, love, self-awareness and present it with an amazing backdrop of music. In this CD, Muse revisits songs from their previous albums ( a revamping of Hyper Music into Hyper Chondriac Music and the second disc is a recording of a concert) as well as introduce new compositions, my favorite being Yes Please.

Not for rawdy boys

I bought this book as a Christmas gift for my 4 and 7 year old nephews after seeing it in magazines and TV spots. But after reviewing it and speaking with their father, we decided that they were much too young for it. Keep in mind these are rawdy boys who can damage steel! So the book is now a part of my library until they become more mature, and it's a welcome addition. I absolutely love the intricate details, and it is far superior than the pop-up books of my youth (80's).

You won't find a holy roller here

I'm usually turned off by authors who center their work around Christianity because most are hypocritical. Anyone can embellish their life story but Lara comes across as authentic in all of her content. She's encouraged me to take study scripture again and I'm thankful for that.
