Really love this pot
I originally came across this product in Target when it was on sale. Bought it and loved cooking my pasta's, stews and porridge in it. Unfortunately, don't know if it was me or the product, but it started to chip away at the inside of the pot when I let it sit in water for a couple of days. Not to mention when I took the plastic off to examine the pot lid it was dented on the rim! So that being said, PLEASE follow the care instructions on this item. It's like a cast iron in some way, you have to pre-heat it when getting started cooking and letting it cool off to clean it. Love the handle, never have to worry about burning my hands on it and it handles pretty well with whatever you're cooking. I haven't used this thing in the oven yet, I don't feel comfortable putting a pot in the oven to bake/broil. I don't worry about scratching the coating off when stirring, it seems pretty hardcore when using hard utensils. (I would stick with "softer" utensils though)
The only con I can think of this product is that it is $$! When my original one got damaged it was a PAIN trying to look for one in my area AND that is cheap. So be mindful of this product, if it breaks you'll be shelling out money to get a replacement. Worth it, since it last longer than the typical pots you buy at the store. Hope this helps!
