The "Go To" Adjustable Regulator

This is the one you always want to have on hand. There are more efficient regulators, sure. But this thing is quick, easy, standardized and built like a tank. They've been around for decades and will be around for decades more. Get yourself some.

Does What It Says

The best feature about this is that it does exactly what it's supposed to. No drama, nothing unexpected. Nothing special either, no big "WOW Factor". It's just a power supply. Put it in, power up the device, go about your day. Months later it's still doing exactly what it was advertised to do without drama.

Exactly what they claim to be.

These were the right parts for the job and perform exactly as expected. Nothing more, nothing less than 455 KHz IF filters. Pulling the old filters was quite a chore and not something to be done by the timid or inexperienced. Once those were out, these dropped right in and the radio once again performs as expected.
