Face Mast Respirator Made by Milwaukee with a gasket for comfort and better protection?
I have been wearing this mask made without the gasket since the beginning of the pandemic and only recently started wearing the same mask with the gasket. It is very comfortable and fits my face perfectly. It is an n-95 approved to wear in industrial settings for dust etc. My concern is that it not approved for protection for viruses, I.e., COVID-19. Since it is labeled n-95, for which I have been wearing it for. I have not been able to find out why it is not approved since it is labeled n-95. The two straps that fit over your head are easily adjustable. I feel much safer wearing this that a cloth mask. I heve started wearing wearing a simple surgical mask over the exhalation valve to protect other people. If anyone knows why it is not approved for protection for Covid-19 since it is labeled n-95 I would appreciate knowing why? I do wear this mask in crowded Walmarts and Costcos ,etc and I stay away from crowed enclosed locations like restaurants, churches, gyms, etc. I believe this mask respirator is made in India but so is my blood pressure medicine which has helped to control my BP.
