Bobby Blake at Rockledge School
We purchased this book for our (then) 12 year old son. After he read it, he requested the next Bobby Blake book as a present for either Christmas or his birthday.
After his request, I decided to read it to ensure a good investment. I shouldn't have worried. I have to admit though, that it was hard to put down... LOL!
This is a wonderful book for boys! It is full of good, clean, fun, and yet Bobby Blake and the boys he "hangs" with get into enough trouble (the serious trouble is not their fault) to make it exciting.
In this day and age, good clean books are difficult to find--especially for boys. If you longingly remember the wholesome type of books you grew up with and have been thinking: "They just don't write them like that anymore..." this book is for you. This is the kind you don't have to worry about your children or grandchildren reading. They may even pick up good old-fashioned ideas (like honesty and taking responsibility for one's own actions) along the way! :-)

*Must* use or Nails Break, But Works Wonders!
Years ago, L'Oreal had a nail strengthener I loved (I can't remember it's name) and I got complimented on my nails all the time.
That nail strengthener was discontinued and so I searched for a replacement. OPI Nail Strengthener (in the green package) for some reason it caused my nails to peel. This OPI Nail Envy Nail Maintenance however, worked wonders and is almost a replacement for the L'Oreal.
I say *almost* a replacement, because unlike the L'Oreal product, you *MUST* use this product or it causes your nails to be brittle and to break more easily than they normally would. However, that being said, if used constantly, it does allow my nails to grow beautifully. Once again, I get many compliments on my nails. :-)

KAL PURE Stevia vs. KAL SURE Stevia

This is a completely different product than KAL SURE Stevia.
A year or so ago, KAL PURE Stevia was the only type of stevia Kal manufactured. I loved the PURE Kal Stevia--even used to hand out samples to people to get them to try! This was the best stevia ever! No bitter aftertaste. Sweet and delicious! Amazing!
Then there was a color change in the packets.
At first I thought I was imagining things. But after opening the new brownish colored packet, and pouring half of it into my coffee as I always had, I noticed the contents did not dissolve as it had in the past.
The coffee wasn't the delicious sweetness I was used to either. It took two packets instead of half a packet that had previously sweetened my coffee!
Then I purchased a box here on eBay. That's when I finally noticed the name change! The new packets are named SURE instead of PURE. Comparing the ingredients, the SURE packets contain half the amount of monk fruit in them than the PURE packets.
I called the company to ask about it. They said they no longer make the PURE stevia. They used to source their products out of China. That factory closed. Now they source it from Korea.
Why did they decide to add less monk fruit (luo han)? Who knows? If you do the research on monk fruit it perfectly pairs with stevia. It even helps blood sugar issues. Maybe monk became more expensive?
I called their number: 1-800-365-5966, and requested they revert back to the old stevia if possible. The rep. said she would pass along my opinion.
