Takes me back to the 70's
1 of 1 found this helpful As a student ready to enter college in 1976, I saw an article for the HP-35 and got a summer job to save my money to buy one. I had one of the earliest units sold by HP, picking it up directly from HP headquarters. At $395 in 1976, it was DAMN EXPENSIVE, but made my life as an engineer at UC Berkeley so much easier. While I could use a slide rule, this made it unnecessary, and it was so cutting edge a the time. (Remember that 4 function calculators cost $125 or so.)
I sold my HP-35 a long time ago, but always wish I had kept it. So when I saw one for sale, I had to put it back on my desk. This was the first calculator to do trig functions that you could hold in your hand.
Owning one again just makes me smile, and frankly, I enjoy using it again.

The last of a good thing?
25 of 27 found this helpful I have always liked the iPad Mini. I do not want a bigger phone, and I do not like carrying a large iPad on trips, as mostly I want it to read email and books, and look at web pages. The less I can carry in weight the better.
Alas, Apple seems to have dropped this line as the only mini available now is the 4, which is approaching 18 months old, with 128 GB of memory, more than most people need, and at a very high price compared to pother iPads.
Seeing that 2 possible release dates have passed for an iPad Mini 5, I decided to go for the 4 just to update my aging and slowing iPad Mini 2. This is fast, up to date, an excellent screen, and with this much capacity, I put TV and movies on it for traveling as well. And it is fast enough with enough RAM to run the split screen features of the new iOS, which I also really like.
If you want a Mini, this may be the last one you will find, and it does the job really well. Just wish we had one with force sensitive screens and newer processors.

Works perfectly
This was an excellent replacement for my broken power supply. It is a good size, has a long cord, and worked perfectly. Not much more to say.
