If you think the game looks recycled, that's because it is...

Let me start by saying that I went into this year's Madden with an open mind after reading some positive reviews and doing research of my own on the game. I should have expected it to be what I thought it might be, but I gave it a shot. To my dissatisfaction, I found out the hard way to not trust the developer of the Madden titles as well as the publisher, EA. Same crap, different year. Graphics? PS3 with some lighting and higher resolution. Gameplay? Tight and responsive as it should be. However, the presentation needs vast amounts of improvement if I'm to ever look at purchasing another Madden game. The commentary is awful. You'll quickly become annoyed when you're hearing them repeat themselves time and time again. Stadiums have no life. The stadiums and low resolution, poorly textured, thrown together dumps. My Colt's Lucas Oil Stadium looks particularly bad. The crowds don't react well to the actual flow of the game, they are often out of sync with touchdowns and flags, etc. The UI flows well, but looks dated and unimaginative. Much like the overall product. Animation one of the worst aspect of the game. Player models are stiff and lifeless. In conclusion, if you're interested in Madden 16, think twice and watch some gameplay from an external source before committing. Might save you some time and money.
