Love this Stuff!
Love this stuff! Used Polycrylic on the table top of my new sewing station that is being converted from an old piano (Disclaimer - Please seek advise from a piano technician before jumping into a project like this as there are several elements that are dangerous.) Attached pictures - used Polycrylic on the table top of my piano sewing station with metallic acrylic silver spray paint. You have to use acrylic paint - this stuff is not good on all types of paint so read the instructions first. Since it's water based, the brush washes out super easy! Don't miss out on eternal bliss. Jesus Christ is the only way to God! You've been told. Oh and for any piano huggers out there, don't worry! It was humanely put to sleep and it had several issues with it that were beyond repair. I had even put it up on CL for free but had no takers. Polycrylic = good stuff! Have a great day!

Exceeds expectations
Totally different class of construction than makes that are just a bit lower in price. People report these as dependable over time and I see why, looking under the hood. I wondered what on Earth was in the box when it came because more cheaply made ones are much lighter-weight (that's not a good thing). Unless you want to tinker and modify others internally so they don't self destruct, get this one because it won't burn up and they don't lie about the power rating. Unbelievably well-built for what it is. I needed dependability for small wedding PA.

wish all my keys were like this
I can't wait to get the rest of the 4 tuning machine keys for the headstock, as ones that match this 5th/drone string will be a nice upgrade for my stock vintage Korean economy banjo ones. It is smooth and very stable (does not require tension to pull it into feeling cleanly/tightly machined). I am impressed; it seems like my brother's really expensive ones. The, what..15:1 gear ration (?) is adequate, particularly since it's stable (unless actually twisted/turned by nudging the key markedly, but it is nicely stable against indirect bumps and vibrations without contacting the key, turning it). I belt sanded down the insert fin, but some people make a groove for it somehow if their hole has none. The insert was larger than my hole but that was because I had a different or cheap one prior, and since I had no taper I used 3 consecutive drill bits, just by hand in a manual hand-tool holder, and filed & sanded the steps (widest at the top of course, narrow at the bottom). Took minutes..was a loose press fit and I used contact cement glue which can be dug out if need be one day more than epoxy or oodles of acrylic. HAPPY, quick & simple part of my overhaul!
