My meter worked. Solid construction, long cords and easy to use. No complaints.
5 of 5 found this helpful When I first got it, I tried it on a very suspect battery I was currently having trouble with; the reason I got the meter. The meter said it was good (?) That had me confused. I thought right off the meter was a sham. BUT, I eventually went into the city (a drive in winter) and had the battery tested officially at a very reputable battery outlet with their fancy equipment. He did everything, including opening up this "sealed" battery and tested the solution. All tests came up positive. He said the battery was good; just needed a good charging. My meter was correct. That threw me. I asked what the problem was and he mentioned that sometimes batteries are not given a PROPER initial charge at the factory or are left sitting somewhere and are then shipped out with a "new" date sticker on it. Either way, he told me what to do to get the battery working, which I did. It now works, AND this meter was correct all along. He gave me a printout from his equipment and my meter was virtually spot on the same. Actually, I'm glad all this happened. It showed the meter was indeed good plus it revealed a slip up in battery buying I now know exists. I give the meter an easy 5 stars.
