+1 to toughness and size. -1 to shuffle feel.
3 of 5 found this helpful These sleeves feel very durable and add an addition layer of protection. But that protection comes at a cost. A Perfect Hard sleeved deck is larger, and does not shuffle as smoothly as a deck doubled-sleeved with regular Perfect Size. They seem to trap more air, so the pillowy stack wobble of a freshly double-sleeved deck remains, even after several play sessions. When shuffling, the cards tend to stick more. They do not slide as smoothly together during a mash shuffle. When combined with Dragon Shields, I found them hard to double-sleeve and the resulting 75 was just slightly too big to fit in a larger deck box. They fit more nicely into KMC Hyper Mattes and the final 75 fits snuggly in my deck box with a few tokens to spare. I have taken the Hard sleeved deck out to a couple events and despite all the little inconveniences, I think it is worth the change over to me for higher value decks. I could justify using these for Legacy or Vintage.
Additional note, in case it was not clear from the increased deck size, they are noticeably different from regular Perfect Size sleeves. You cannot mix Perfect Size and Perfect Hard sleeves within the same deck. It would then be marked.
