Lot's of show, less go

Beautiful, well made & nicely finished, BUT I would have preferred a kydex sheath,should be an option, also the leather handle is SO SLIPPERY! I would have preferred G-10 or Micarta. I will probably sand off the varnish to get down to the leather & oil it as I find it like holding a catfish!

I LOVE Ontario knives

I have MANY Ontario knives,all of which I love.Ontario knife Company is one of my favorites. They produce a HUGE variety of knives. Something for everyone. As usual I found the RAK to be of excellent quality. Very sharp out of the box, extremely well built & finished. If you need a medium sized knife for hunting, camping & general bushcraft this knife will serve you well,it has a nice finger choil which allows you to choke up on the blade safely & securely.I highly recommend it!

Supprised

I was very supprised to find that the micarta handles were varnished or something. I have many knives with micarta handles, none of which have a SLICK [as in slippery] finish. I do like the knife but HATE the scales! I will probably sand the varnish/coating off as it is HORRIBLE & makes the knife potentially dangerous
