It's making a difference....
Per the Facebook and blog recommendation of a hair salon makeup artist, I gave this product a try. I am 66 years old and have had thinning hair for the past 8 years. Patience is of the utmost importance as change does not happen overnight. I am on my second bottle, following the recommended treatment plan, and have been to my stylist three times since I started using it. She and I both have begun to notice a difference in the thickness of my hair. Whether it is a thicker strand or new growth we cannot discern at this time, but a noticeable positive difference rates 5 stars! If what I am seeing continues, I will be a customer for life! I have tried lots of products. This has been the best by far.

It looked like an exact replacement, but SURPRISE!
This was one that caught me by surprise. My Lufkin 100 foot tape broke off at the 19 foot mark so I wanted to replace the whole tape. It arrived, was by all appearances identical in width and the markings. I pulled out the old tape and the connection of the new replacement was identical. So I attached it and started reeling it in. However, the last 25 feet wouldn't reel up. It just got stuck. So I assumed that I hadn't provided enough tension on the tape and it must need to be wound more tightly. So I unwound it and began slowly reeling it in while keeping it pretty taut and pulling on it every so often to eliminate any slack. Well, the last 20 feet wouldn't wind up. I took the case apart to see that the tape was wound tightly but it was jammed up against one of the "tubes" that the screw goes into. My conclusion is that this replacement tape must have been made out of slightly thicker material and in a 100 foot tape the diameter of the rolled up coil was significantly bigger. So the product appeared fine but did not meet my need. How could I have known about this issue ahead of time?

Product design needs improvement
1 of 1 found this helpful It is almost a must-have for better application of the toppik fibers, but I have been through four of these applicators in a couple of years. They do not last! This particular one is spraying the fibers all over the place and that was not the case with the previous ones. The only reason I recommended the product and gave it three stars (okay) is because the applicator will do a better job of dispersing the fibers than trying to do it without an applicator. However, the product design is flawed.
