Acme rollerball to fountain pen conversion kit
Kudos to the Acme folks for having Schmidt create this product. Others should do the same - interchangeability is nice. As with all things Schmidt makes, no issues with quality. However, all kits furnish only a Medium nib. I like fine nibs, and would very much like to have that choice. And I suspect that I'm not the Lone Ranger on that issue.

Buy this pen
The reputation of the Namiki/Pilot people for producing excellent products is well-deserved: this is a pen which has been thought about - the style, shape, and functionality are all first rate. This is actually my second Vanishing Point. I had purchased one last week, which my wife saw sitting on my desk. Never having used a fountain pen, she picked it up and wrote with it, and then realized what it was. That was the end of that pen, and this one is my replacement for it. I, too, am new to fountain pens, but there's lots to like about this pen. It will become my only daily user (as will my wife's).
And, not BTW, I like the color so well, the new Jeep Renegade I will buy after the New Year will be in a matching color.

Delta Serena
A very comfortable size and shape, and excellent Delta nib. I'll probably wind up with a couple more, in different colors.
The dealer is, as always, outstanding in term of service.
