Great value exhaust system for MGB
1 of 1 found this helpful I purchased the Bell stainless steel exhaust system for my 1970 MGB. My car is a "driver" not a show car, and I am a DIY'er. I also purchased the optional hanger kit (recommended). It replaced an old, loud, mild steel system, which was on the vehicle when I acquired it. Installation wasn't difficult, but I wouldn't recommend installing ANY exhaust system without a lift, or pit. The fit of the system is perfect, requiring no modifications. The quality is very good, with heavy mating flanges to the exhaust manifold (gaskets are included). IMO the pipe material gauge is perfect (not too heavy, not too light). I have read other reviews stating that the muffler, and resonator skin material is too light. I disagree. It is comparable to most OEM, or replacement mufflers, and being stainless steel, I expect they will last for years. The exhaust has a low mellow OEM tone, which allows normal conversation in the cabin. This is not a polished, trailer queen, show car system (which is why I rated it a 4), but if you want an affordable, quality, nice sounding system, I highly recommend the Bell exhaust.

Convenient battery charging connection.
I install quick connect harnesses on all of my battery starting equipment, which allows me to easily connect them to a charger when needed. I purchase the 5-pack so I have on hand when I need one.
