Kensington Orbit Trackball Mouse with Scroll Ring (K72337US)

Takes awhile to get used to
With the Kensington Orbit, I really like the smoothness of the trackball's movement, as well as the scroll ring. It's so much more than just for scrolling a webpage up or down, as it also works for scrolling left and right in Windows file explorer. But the ergonomics definitely have room for improvement. I don't understand why Kensington had to make it so wide and flat. It's impossible to cradle it inside your palm like you would with their Orbit Wireless Trackball (#KD6704). Also, with the way your thumb rests on the left click button, it's difficult to fire off rapid double-clicks. This is also because of the wide & flat proportions. I also have the Wireless Trackball, #KD6704, for my laptop, and with that model's ergonomics it's much easier to cradle it in my palm. Eventually, after 3 weeks of use, I've learned how to use it...I just wish it was more compact.
