My 4th and favorite G shock
2 of 2 found this helpful I have owned a g shock watch for almost 10 years, and just recently picked this one up to add to my collection. First off I absolutely love the way it looks, as with most watches pictures just don't do it justice. It has all the features you'd expect from a g shock plus the added dual sensor with a compass and thermometer. There is a more expensive triple sensor version of this watch, that has solar charging as well as a altimeter and barometer, but for about twice the price this one fit my budget a lot better. The solar charging would have been nice, but the altimeter and barometer I probably would never use. I have a 7 inch wrist and it fits me perfectly, if you have a smaller wrist I probably wouldn't recommend this, there are smaller g shocks that would fit a lot better for those with small wrists. The Lume on this piece is a welcome addition that I think all g shocks should have, and it works very well although it doesn't last quite as long as my citizen or seiko. There is a built in white led illuminator that does the job nicely, although it would have been perfect had they included a backlight for the digital screens. The lcd screens are very clear and easy to read, I love having the dual display as well. If you are looking for a really nice gadget watch but don't want to spend the $600 to $700 on the triple sensor version, I would highly recommend this piece, or maybe check out the gravity master which is also a great looking watch for around the same price as this.
