The glass lasts, the lids eventually crack along the seal
I've gone through quite a few of these lids. All eventually crack. I used to be able to get then at Corning Ware outlet stores closer to my home, but for some reason all of those stores have closed. Buying two prepares me for when the lid I'm using cracks.along a side near a corner. I paid more than I would have at an outlet store, but I had no choice.
