Outstanding quality binoculars
2 of 2 found this helpful These Mojave 8x42s compete with Zeiss and Swarovski for clarity and contrast. They're rugged enough for the toughest hunting environment. I used my new Mojave binoculars for our flintlock season and saw things in the woods I'd never seen or noticed before. My previous go-to hunting binoculars are Nikon monarch 8x40, very rugged, very durable, and excellent for hunting. But not nearly as crisp as these. They both cost around $300. I have other binoculars stationed at different windows for viewing wildlife when it's around, and again, these Mojaves are excellent quality, easily competing with the top. But, the eye caps are silly, and should be improved. The attachment clips where the strap connects could be a hair wider to accommodate different connection types. Overall an outstanding product that is priced way below its actual quality.

Letter tabs were off or coming off, pages pretty hard used with a groove worn in the pages edge from someone using a pencil to push the pages for a long time. Spine pretty sloppy, not real rigid. This is more of a "Fair" condition than a "Good" condition. Packed OK and shipped fast, much appreciated

Very well made, but like all big 1950s classics, it needs streamlining
1 of 2 found this helpful No question about it, this is the best hair clipper made. It is very powerful. The blades are sharp, and remain so because they are made from top quality steel. The blade design is excellent. No adjustable settings, no snap-on plastic guards, you pick a steel blade length, pop it in, and get to work. However, this is a clunky size and design. Yes, it is a throwback. In the sense that it is very robust, this is good. But in the sense that it is more than hand filling and very big, this is not a good thing. This makes it difficult to handle. It needs to be streamlined, either contoured for easier handling, or made smaller. No doubt the motor can handle a smaller or better contoured housing. This is a good value for an appliance that will last your lifetime.
