Specialised halogen bulb for standard lamp
It is precisely what I needed, although (not because of any fault in the product) it was not easy to find on the WWW. There was nothing on the broken bulb to guide my search, but it is obviously made for only a limited kind of installation and that finally led me to it. The bulb was billed on the WWW as "dimmable" which was exactly what I needed, whilst other similar bulbs did not mention dimmability so that decided me on choosing this precise product. The old bulb has lasted nearly 10 years, so I anticipate that the few I bought will certainly see me out :-)

Cruise control
Such a simple thing but a boon. The levers and throttle on my GSX1400 need a very firm pull and grip, and the device all but eliminates that from the throttle. Instead of having to keep a tiring firm grip, I just rest my wrist on the device.
