SILICON grease, plastic slides and drawers in refrigerators...

Plastic rail and plastic drawer channels for refer/freezers stick when sliding and will break or crack. TRY THIS: purchase a tube or tin (small 1/2 oz) of SILICON grease wherever plumbing supplies are sold i.e. HD, Lowes, any hardware store and grease the rails and drawer channels LIGHTLY with a Q-tip, toothpick, your fingertip. It's clear and will not gum up in the refrigerator cold or freezer. The drawer will then slide like it's on ball bearings.

The title says it all...

James Harriot is an excellent author with a true story line laced with descriptive adjectives and color. I haven't read this one yet but expect it to be as well as other books of his. Currently viewing the 1977+ series on CD. Book was shipped promptly but it got lost somewhere and took over three weeks to get here...not the shipper's fault...I wasn't in a hurry to get it anyway.
