Small, light, cheap, effective, durable, waterproof fire and safety signal device
First off, the whistle takes some practice, not super loud for me. But the compass does seem to reliably point north (tested against iPhone compass) on both of my compass/flints ( I bough two, one for my son for when we go snowboarding). The flint and metal striker parts ( the important parts) Work Great. Tons of bright hot sparks. This alone is a flash that could be seen for miles in the dark and it lasts for many thousands of strikes. As it's so small and light, you can have it with you easily. I've tested it for two weeks, All good.
Dryer lint lights with one strike, shredded paper towel/toilet paper took 3 fast strikes. Fuzzy little edges light best. Also, fast shipping and good order status updates.
